Aportes de la Lingüística Sistémico-Funcional a la equidad educativa: prácticas y debates

Resumen

Se reconoce que el lenguaje desempeña un papel esencial en la comunicación en todos los aspectos de la vida y en el ámbito educativo sirve como un medio crucial para transmitir ideas, experiencias y conocimientos. La Lingüística Sistémico-Funcional (LSF) se presenta como una teoría lingüística que puede enriquecer las prácticas pedagógicas y promover la equidad en entornos cultural y lingüísticamente diversos. Este artículo, de naturaleza teórica y conceptual, se propone abordar una perspectiva en la aplicación de la LSF  para la formación de docentes y  para la enseñanza del lenguaje, donde se destaca la capacidad de la teoría mencionada para abordar la diversidad cultural y lingüística. En su desarrollo, el artículo examina los fundamentos y las aplicaciones educativas de la LSF utilizando como ejemplo el contexto de la formación universitaria de docentes.
