Evaluación de profesores para la calidad educativa de las universidades

En este artículo se pretende abordar la evaluación del profesorado universitario como factor de calidad de las Universidades. Se plantea la necesidad de partir del modelo pedagógico de cada universidad, tomando en cuenta los retos de la educación superior en el contexto actual. Además, se analiza la necesidad de contemplar en la evaluación las competencias docentes, referidas específicamente a la formación de las competencias del estudiantado. Se destaca la importancia de la toma de decisiones para la calidad, especialmente dirigida a la formación del profesorado y se finaliza con unas conclusiones generales.
